Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 June 2026
Genesis (“Genesis”, “we”, “us”) is a personal-assistant product that lets you create an AI assistant of your own and, optionally, connect your own accounts so it can help you. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is written to be plain and honest.
Who runs Genesis
Genesis is operated by its creator (contact below). It is currently in private early access.
What we collect
- Account basics. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and Google account ID — only to create and secure your account.
- What you create. Your assistant’s name, persona, colours, and the “memory” it builds from your conversations with it (facts, preferences, and notes you choose to keep).
- Connected data (only if you connect it). If you choose to connect Google, we request read-only access to your Gmail and Google Calendar so your assistant can brief you and draft replies. We never send email or change your calendar without your explicit instruction.
- Messages. The conversations between you and your assistant, so it can remember and improve for you.
How we use your data
- To provide your assistant — remember what matters to you, brief you, and draft things for you.
- To keep your account secure and the service working.
- That is the whole list. We do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and we do not use your content to train foundation models.
Google user data — Limited Use. Genesis’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the
Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Your Gmail and Calendar data is used only to provide and improve
your assistant features at your request, is never sold, is never used for advertising, and is never used to train generalized AI/ML models. Humans do not read it except where you ask for support, for security, or where required by law.
Who we share with
We use a small number of trusted processors purely to make the product work, under their data-protection terms:
- Google Cloud / Firebase — secure storage and sign-in.
- Anthropic (Claude) and Google (Gemini) — the AI models that power your assistant’s replies and its generated face. Content sent to them is used only to produce your response, per their API terms, and not to train their public models.
- Twilio — only if you link WhatsApp, to deliver your messages.
We do not share your data with anyone else, and we never sell it.
Where it’s stored & how long
Your data is stored in Google Cloud, isolated to your account. We keep it until you delete it or ask us to. You can see everything your assistant remembers, forget any single memory or all of them, export everything, disconnect a connected account, or delete the assistant entirely — all self-serve from your brain in the app.
Your choices
- Disconnect Google or WhatsApp at any time — we delete the related access tokens.
- Delete your assistant and data yourself — open your brain → delete this assistant in the app. (Or contact us and we will erase it.)
- You can also revoke Genesis’s access from your Google Account permissions page.
Security
Access is gated to your authenticated account, data is isolated per user, and connected-account tokens are stored encrypted in Google Secret Manager / Firestore. No system is perfectly secure, but we design for least access.
Children
Genesis is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region) and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We’ll update this page and the date above if this policy changes.
